What Are the 4 Most Common Eye Diseases?

  • Diabetic Retinopathy

    If you have diabetes, you should be aware of the risk of diabetic retinopathy. Elevated blood sugar can cause blood vessels in the eye to become inflamed or swell. In the early stages, you may not notice symptoms, but advanced diabetic retinopathy can cause blurred vision or eye inflammation.

    Diabetic retinopathy treatment includes:

Optometry technician Jackie(hope name is right ) was pleasant, efficient, professional and carried a very calm and inviting approach. Made transition across three stations appear effortless. Displayed great patience as I needed to make repeated adjustment/placement on machines. Dr. Dombrowski was also pleasant, efficient and professional. Took the time to explain images of results and help me understand the relevance as it related to the condition of my eyes. Felt much more informed and aware at the end of my visit. I was impressed by the quality of the machines (appeared advanced) used and the thoroughness of my exam. I recommend this location as the best place for first or follow up exams.!
